About Moallem
Moallem, Arabic for “teacher”, turns lectures that faculty have already recorded into finished course films, in Arabic and English, for universities across the Arabian Gulf.

How we handle your recordings
What happens to a recording today, step by step. The Privacy Policy is the full text.
Read the Privacy PolicyWhere it is stored
Recordings and finished films are kept in our cloud storage in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
Where it is produced
The film is cleaned up, rendered and captioned on computers Moallem operates itself, not on a rented render service.
Captions
Speech is transcribed by Whisper speech-recognition models that we run ourselves; the recording is not sent to a transcription service.
Planning
To plan a lecture, its transcript (the text, not the video) is sent to Claude, the AI model made by Anthropic, which drafts the chapters, the objectives and the shot plan you then review.
Generated pictures
In Studio and Premiere, pictures and short clips are generated from short written descriptions of a moment in the lecture. The recording itself is not sent to make them.
Used for your lectures only
Recordings are used to produce your lectures and for nothing else: never for advertising, and we do not use them to train AI models. You can ask us to delete a recording and its films at any time.
