Terms of Service
Last updated 3 November 2026
In short
- Your recordings, scripts and slides stay yours. We use them only to produce your lectures.
- Production is automated and can make mistakes. You review a lecture before you publish it.
- You see the plan and the price before anything is made.

Who we are
Moallem is a service that turns recorded lectures into produced lectures. These Terms cover the website at moallem.selfcoding.dev, the app at moallem-app.selfcoding.dev and the production service (together, the Service). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them.
Using the Service for an institution
If you use the Service for a university, college or other organisation, you confirm that you may accept these Terms for it. A separate written agreement with that organisation takes priority over these Terms where the two differ.
Your account
You sign in with your email and a one-time code, or with a Google account. Keep that access secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account. You must be an adult to hold one.
Your content
Recordings, scripts, slides, logos and names you upload stay yours. You let us store, process and reproduce them for one purpose: providing the Service to you. You confirm that everyone seen or heard in a recording agreed to it, and that you have the right to any third-party material in it.
What we produce for you
The produced lecture, its captions, transcript, chapters and the visuals placed in it are yours to use for your teaching once the fees for it are paid. Generic visuals that contain none of your recording, people, names or brand may be reused in other productions. The Service's software, templates and brand remain ours.
Automated production and your review
Lectures are produced by automated systems, and captions, transcripts and visuals can contain mistakes, including factual and academic ones. You are responsible for reviewing a lecture before you publish it. We never publish your lectures for you.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content or content you have no right to share, recordings of people who did not agree to be recorded, or anything that deceives people about who is speaking. Do not try to break, overload or copy the Service. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Fees and VAT
Prices are shown before anything is made, by tier and by the finished minute. You owe the price of a lecture when you approve it for production. VAT is added at the rate of the country you are invoiced in. If a lecture fails or does not match the plan you approved, tell us within 14 days and we will correct it or refund it.
Confidentiality
We treat your content and unpublished lectures as confidential, and we never use your lectures, names or logo in our marketing without your permission.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided as it is, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits rights the law does not allow to be limited.
Ending the agreement
You may stop at any time and ask us to delete your account and content. We may suspend an account that breaks these Terms; where reasonable we will tell you first so you can retrieve your lectures.
Changes and contact
Nothing in these Terms removes any protection the law of your own country gives you. We may update them; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go to us through the contact page.
