Trust & procurement
What a university's legal and IT office usually asks first: who else touches your data, where it goes, how long we keep it, and what happens if something goes wrong. Everything on this page is checked against the running service, not a marketing claim.

Sub-processors
The outside companies that process your recording, its transcript or your account's personal data to provide the service, and what each one does.
| Provider | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| DigitalOcean | App hosting, the database and file storage (your uploaded recording and the finished film) | Frankfurt, Germany (EU) |
| Anthropic | Drafts the lecture's chapters, learning outcomes and shot plan from the recording's transcript (the text — never the recording itself) | Anthropic's own infrastructure |
| Maileroo | Sends sign-in codes and other service email | Maileroo's own infrastructure |
ElevenLabs is used only for one direction of the optional teacher voice-dubbing feature (an English lecture dubbed into Arabic, in the teacher's own cloned voice), and only once we have separately turned that fallback on. It is off today, so no recording or voice reaches ElevenLabs.
No other outside company receives your recording, your voice or your personal data. Rendering — keying, captions, b-roll and the finished edit — runs on computers we operate ourselves, never a rented server.
How a recording flows
The same four steps for every film, whatever its template.
Upload
The teacher uploads their recording from the app, over an encrypted connection.
EU storage
The recording is kept in our cloud storage in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
Our render machines
The film is cleaned up, captioned and rendered on computers we operate ourselves — never a rented render service. We never promise a recording stays in one country while it is rendered elsewhere: we name where, here.
Back to EU storage
The finished film, its captions and its quality & consent record are written back to the same storage, for the teacher to watch and download.
Retention & deletion
What the product actually does when a video or an account is deleted — not a policy promise, the real delete code.
- Deleting a video
- A teacher can delete a video at any time from the app. Deletion is immediate and hard: the stored recording, the finished film and any quality-check frames are removed from storage, and the project's own database record is removed with it — not hidden, not scheduled for later.
- Deleting an account
- A teacher can close their own account once every one of their videos has been deleted first, so no recording is ever left behind by an account that no longer exists. Closing the account removes the sign-in record immediately and signs them out everywhere.
- While an account stays open
- Account and lecture data is kept for as long as the account is open, and technical logs for a limited time; see the Privacy Policy for the complete account.
Breach notice
If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, Saudi Arabia's PDPL, Qatar's PDPPL and Bahrain's PDPL all set a 72-hour notice period, and we follow it. The UAE's PDPL Executive Regulations have not yet set a fixed period; we would still tell you promptly.
Consent & human review
Before a teacher's first film, Moallem asks for their consent to process the recording and add AI-made pictures; for films made under Saudi Arabia's rules, that consent is required, not just asked, and the film carries an AI-disclosure line. Every Premiere film — and any film an institution chooses to require — is checked by a person for scientific accuracy, language and cultural compliance before the teacher can download it. Every decision is kept as a tamper-evident, signed record.
